Activities:  Develop core ideas for products and production systems for complex plastic injection moulding tools on behalf of various Tier 1 clients in Automotive, Aerospace, and Construction industries. Retain focus on process and product improvement / inception. Complete design and generation of 3D surface tooling data for manufacture from component CAD data provided. Position Held: Injection Mould Tool Designer.

Activities: Worked on the design for one of the best toolmakers in Brazil for large Thermoplastic Injection Moulds of up to 20 tons on products for the automotive industry, white goods, and toys. Determined technical feasibility and developed conceptual, preliminary, and final designs using 3D modelling, creating triangular mesh (STL), simulations, and presentations of complete design details.

  • Successfully created approved designs for customers such as Hyundai, GM, Toyota, Honda, PSA, Mabe, and others, using others, using Delcam Power Shape, Siemens NX, Autodesk AutoCAD, Delcam Copy CAD, and Autodesk MoldFlow software.

Position Held: Injection Mould Tool Designer / CAM Programmer.

Activities: Designed customized thermoplastic injection moulding and Investment Casting tools from prototyping to production. Collaborated on moulding and tooling to develop best product solutions for customers across multiple industries. Worked closely with Application Engineering, Prototype Lab, Production Engineering, and Sales team to facilitate release of new products and changes to existing product. Utilized PTC Pro/Engineer Wildfire, Vero Machining Strategist, and CGTech Vericut software.

  • Scope of work encompassed design, mathematical modelling, detailing for manufacturing, CAM programming, and complete consulting to final product delivery.

Position Held: Owner / Injection Mould Tool Designer and CAM Programmer.

Activities: Complete solution including the quotation, at the first initial conception, development, design and detailing of product and its tooling CNC Programming through CAM system to machining centers for the manufacture of prototypes and tools for Plastic Injection Mould, Vulcanization and Transfer process. I used PTC Pro/Engineer, PTC Pro/Toolmaker, CGTech Vericut, Mold Flow Autodesk and Autodesk 3D Studio softwares.

Position Held: Mechanical Designer / CAM Programmer.

Activities: Development of mechanical projects for products in the motors fields area for drives and automation systems as well as Plastic Injection Mould, Aluminum and Zamak. Mathematical modeling of products and tooling, detailed process and programming through machining CAM system for machining centers. Those activities were performed using PTC Pro/Engineer, CGTech Vericut, MasterCam, Autodesk Mechanical Desktop and Autodesk Autocad.

I was also responsible for the illustrative designs in order to prepare the machine´s installation guides using Corel Draw™, Adobe Photoshop™ and Autodesk 3D Studio™ softwares.
